The center is where Micro, Meso, and Macro overlap. Here, most of the biggest competitive e-sports games are clustered together. Hover any game to see it.

This is not the full list from the video as the site is still a work-in-progress and will be updated to include all games shown on the original diagram.

The three dimensions

The clearest way to understand what a game tests? Think about how you'd cheat in it. The cheat you'd reach for tells you what kind of game it really is.

Micro

The execution layer.

Aim, timing, movement, muscle memory. The good players just hit the inputs.

Cheat with an aimbot: perfect inputs, every time.

e.g. osu!, Geometry Dash, Tetris

Meso

The probability layer.

Mind games, reading people, and riding the chaos of randomness.

Cheat by info: knowing what you shouldn't yet.

e.g. Among Us, Rock Paper Scissors, Poker

Macro

The systems layer.

Routing, resources, win conditions — the mathematically correct way to win.

Cheat with an engine or coach telling you the optimal move.

e.g. Factorio, Chess, Civilization
